¶ Additional IPv4 network
You can assign an additional IPv4 network to the customer service when the IPv4 assignment method is set to Permanent IP (from Static IPs):
¶ Examples
- Example #1 - One IP for WAN and single /32 route:
The customer's CPE will have one static IP for WAN, and you can manually assign both /32 networks to the same CPE:
It will take 3 addresses from this range:
- Example #2 - One IP for WAN and multiple /32 routes:
The customer's CPE will have one static IP for WAN, and you can manually assign both /32 networks to the same CPE:
It will take 3 addresses from this range:
- Example #3 - 10.33.33.10 for WAN, route to 10.33.33.12/30 network through CPE for multiple device's assignment in customer's LAN:
10.33.33.10 is assigned for WAN on the main CPE device, 10.33.33.12/30 contains next addresses:
10.33.33.12/10.33.33.15 - network / broadcast addresses (cannot be used on devices, reserved).
10.33.33.13 - first host IP; in this case, it is used on the CPE device's local interface.
10.33.33.14 - second host IP; it can be assigned to another device in the user's LAN connected to the main CPE.
First CPE device:
Second CPE (device will use first CPE (10.33.33.13) as its gateway):
