This error occurs when the period has been closed for editing in Xero, but changes were made to the financial document in Splynx. When you attempt to update the document, Xero blocks the update and returns this error.
Solution:
a) Unlock the required period in Xero to allow synchronization.
b) Verify that the documents in Xero and Splynx match. If needed, update the financial document in Splynx so it fully complies with the Xero version. Then, contact our support team with a list of such invoices so we can mark them as successfully synchronized.
The invoice you are trying to export has already been exported and marked as paid in Xero. Paid invoices cannot be updated through the integration. To resolve this, remove the payment in Xero, then re-export the invoice from Splynx.
Xero does not support invoices with negative amounts. We recommend issuing credit notes instead.
The Xero tax rate that the invoice is exporting to cannot be used with the account you selected under Mappings → Account. You can review the account and tax rate mappings by navigating to Integrations & Add-ons → Xero → Configure.
Xero does not allow editing invoices with a paid status. To resolve this, you can delete the payment or credit note applied to the invoice and then sync it again. Alternatively, compare the invoice in Splynx and Xero, correct any differences in Splynx, and then contact our support team to have these invoices marked as already synchronized.
