¶ Huawei Groups
¶ Overview
A Huawei Group bundles an Internet tariff, a Voice tariff, and a Recurring tariff into a single GPON group (line profile). When an ONT is provisioned for a customer, Splynx uses the selected group to apply the bandwidth and service limits defined by these tariffs on the Huawei GPON OLT.
Groups are managed in Tariff plans → Huawei Groups.
¶ Prerequisites
Go to Config → Integrations → Add-ons; search for Huawei and install the add-on:
Follow the installation steps on the Huawei GPON add-on page.
You can verify that the add-on is installed and enabled in Config → Integrations → Modules list — filter by Huawei:
Once the add-on is enabled, a new Huawei Groups entry appears under Tariff plans in the main menu.
¶ Adding a Huawei group
- Open Tariff plans → Huawei Groups.
- Click
Addin the top-right corner of the GPON Groups table.
- In the Add GPON group window, fill in the fields:

| Title | Group name. Only A–Z, a–z, 0–9, underscore (_), and hyphen (-) are allowed. |
| Internet tariff | Internet plan whose speed and priority will drive the group's DBA profile and traffic table on the OLT. |
| Voice tariff | Voice plan applied to the group (for SIP/VoIP services on the ONT). |
| Recurring tariff | Recurring plan applied to the group (for services such as IPTV). |
- Click
Addto save the group.
The new group appears in the list with its Status indicators (Synced / Not synced, Used in ONT / Not used in ONT) showing whether the profile has been pushed to the OLT and whether any ONT uses it.
The bandwidth and priority settings that drive the GPON profiles are read from the linked tariff plans. Make sure speed and priority fields are configured on the Internet, Voice, and Recurring plans before you assign the group to an OLT.
¶ Assigning a group to a customer
A Huawei Group is assigned to a customer indirectly — by provisioning a GPON ONT for the customer and selecting the group (bundle) on the ONT.
- Open the customer's profile and stay on the Information tab.
- Click Show more at the bottom of the Information block.
- Locate the GPON ONT field and click
View / Set.
- The Splynx Huawei OLT window opens with the Customer's ONT table. Click
Add ONT.
- Select the OLT device on which to provision the ONT, then fill in the Add ONT form:
- Number — position of the ONT on the board port.
- Bundle — the Huawei Group to apply. This is where the group is assigned to the customer.
- ONT mode — provisioning mode supported by the ONT.
- Serial Number — the ONT's serial number (or use
Auto-find). - Board / Port — physical location on the OLT.
- Click
Addto provision the ONT. The new entry appears in the Customer's ONT table.
This procedure controls bandwidth and service profiles only. To bill the customer for the services delivered over the ONT, add the corresponding Internet, Voice, or Recurring services under the customer's Services tab.
