¶ Projects
¶ Overview
This is the main submodule of the scheduling section, displaying a list of all projects currently in progress. Each project shows the total number of tasks it contains, how many tasks are in progress, and how many tasks have already been completed.
Like all tables and lists in Splynx, the data displayed can be customized according to your preferences by using the breadcrumbs icon
located in the top-right corner of the table.
¶ Creating a new project
A new project can be created, or an existing project can be viewed, at Scheduling → Projects.
To create a new project, click the Add button in the top-right corner:
A window will pop up with the following options:
- Title - project name;
- Description - brief description of the project;
- Type - the project type.
This is a custom option that can be created by an administrator. Project types can be created atConfig → Scheduling → Project types:
- Partners - select a partner to associate the project with;
- Project lead - the lead admin of the project;
- Category - select a project category.
This is a custom option that can be created by administrator. The categories can be created atConfig → Scheduling → Project categories:
- Workflow - the workflow for project tasks.
This is a custom option that can be created/customized by an administrator for different purposes. The workflow can be created atConfig → Scheduling → Workflows:
- Icons on map - icon that will be displayed on the map, representing the project. You can choose a different icon and color by selecting the Custom icons option:

Once the project is created, you can edit it

or archive the project
